The System
A system,
not a supplement.
Reusable bottle. Powder refill. Dosing pump ready. Buy the hardware once. Refill the chemistry forever. Nothing measured by eye.
THE WORKFLOW
Three steps,
once a month.
Step One
Tear open the pouch.
Each packet is pre-weighed for its chemistry. No scoops. No scale. No formula math.
Step Two
Add RO/DI water to the fill line.
Start with half the water. Add the packet, swirl. Then top off to 1 L. Cap and shake for 60 seconds until clear.
RO/DI only. Tap water will alter concentration and may cause precipitation. TDS should be below 5 ppm.
Step Three
Connect your dosing pump.
4mm barb fitting on the cap. Works with most standard reef dosing pumps. Kamoer, Neptune DOS, Reef Octopus, and others. The bottle is the reservoir.
THE HARDWARE
The bottle is the reservoir.
Most reef supplements ship in disposable plastic. We engineered a reusable HDPE bottle with an integrated dosing barb. You buy it once.

THE CHEMISTRY
Four pouches. Four core parameters.
Core+ ALK
Alkalinity
Na₂CO₃ · KHCO₃ · borate
Carbonate alkalinity with ionic-balance support.
Core+ CAL
Calcium
CaCl₂ · MgCl₂ · SrCl₂
Calcium, chloride, magnesium, and strontium support.
Core+ MAG
Magnesium
MgCl₂ · MgSO₄
Balanced chloride/sulfate magnesium support.
KalkPure
Kalkwasser
Ca(OH)₂ · saturated
Pharmaceutical-grade kalkwasser. Dose via ATO reservoir.
THE FORMULATION
Forgives a missed water change.
Most reef chemistry brands choose a side: simple 2-part for affordability, or full three-part Balling for ionic balance. Both have trade-offs. In high-demand systems, simple 2-part dosing can push sodium and chloride upward between water changes. Three-part Balling is operationally complex.
How the formulation addresses this ↓
BioForge Core+ ALK takes a middle path. Sodium carbonate handles the alkalinity. Sodium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate, and borax handle the ionic balance, producing slower ionic drift than standard sodium-bicarbonate 2-part systems. The result is a formulation more tolerant of irregular water change schedules.
Regular water changes are still recommended. The formulation is designed to be more forgiving between them, not to replace them.

THE ECONOMICS
Hardware once.
Refills forever.
A standard reef supplement bottle is mostly water you're paying to ship. A BioForge refill is pre-measured chemistry in a flat foil packet. The same stock solution you'd mix yourself, without the measuring.
