The System
Reusable bottle. Powder refill. Dosing pump ready. Buy the hardware once. Refill the chemistry forever.
THE WORKFLOW
Step One
117 grams of certified-grade powder, dose-calibrated for V5.9 spec. No measuring cups, no chemistry math. Drop it in.
Step Two
From your own RO/DI line. Cap, shake until dissolved. The fill line on the BioForge bottle tells you when you're there.
Step Three
4mm barb fitting on the cap. Works with Kamoer, Neptune DOS, Reef Octopus — every standard reef dosing pump. The bottle is the reservoir.
THE HARDWARE
Most reef supplements ship in disposable plastic. We engineered a reusable HDPE bottle with an integrated dosing barb. You buy it once.
Direct line to your dosing pump. No transfer container.
Tear, pour, fill. No funnel required.
New ring with every refill. Factory-fresh, every time.
Red ALK, green CAL, blue MAG, white KalkPure. Visible at a glance.
THE FORMULATION
Most reef chemistry brands choose a side: simple 2-part for affordability, or full three-part Balling for ionic balance. Both have trade-offs. Pure 2-part accumulates sodium and chloride faster than water changes can remove. Three-part Balling is operationally complex.
BioForge Core+ ALK takes a middle path. Sodium carbonate handles the alkalinity. Sodium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate, and borax handle the ionic balance — slowing the long-term drift that 2-part systems normally fight against. The result is a formulation that doesn't punish you when life gets in the way of your water change schedule.
We still recommend regular water changes. The chemistry is designed to forgive a missed one — not replace them.

THE ECONOMICS
A standard reef supplement bottle is mostly water you're paying to ship. A BioForge refill is the powder, dosed, in a flat foil packet. Hardware once. Powder forever.
Launch is targeted Summer 2026. Waitlist gets launch-day pricing and first access to beta slots.
